Job and Internship Opportunities

  PR and Fundraising internship (with strong potential of becoming a paid job depending on your performance) 

The position: Running and organizing fundraiser campaigns, creating partnerships with related organizations, getting school kids involved in the cause, etc. (Please inquire [email protected] for more details.). Because we operate out of Israel, we are in need of a connection in the U.S. (preferably tri-state area). Hours are extremely flexible and part-time. Perfect for a student. You will gain loads of experience about the potential of theater and the inner runnings of a non-profit. Our staff is extremely supportive to each other and passionate about our cause.
 
Qualifications: A dynamic and motivated student in your second, third, or fourth year at school. You have a passion for theater as well as connecting with the community. You are looking to enter the fields of theater, non-profit, and/or pr and fundraising. You are organized, sociable, and good at taking initiative.

  Join BaMatMaBat in Tanzania, East Africa in July, 2010. Do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to assist in training local professionals in Tanzania on how to utilize Drama and Street Theater for education. In July 2010, BaMatMaBat will launch the second phase of Project Anna: Drama for HIV/AIDS Prevention during which BaMatMaBat will activate 3 street theater workshops in Kilwa, Tanzania. BaMatMaBat trainees and assistant trainees will guide and prepare local professionals and peer educators to maintain the workshops after the three week project. (Please see bamatmabat.weebly.com/project-anna.html for more details.) You can be an assistant trainee! (We will be accepting a maximum of 2 assistant trainees.

***FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT: Following the application procedure and after being accpepted as a candidate for an "assistant peer educator" position, the candidate's attendance is based on him/her raising a minimum $3,500 + cost of plane ticket.
